Additional special express trains to ply between Howrah and Mumbai from Tuesday

Following the cancellation of regular train services to flood-hit Mumbai, the South Eastern Railway has decided to run five additional special express trains from Howrah to Manmad daily from Tuesday till August six.

These trains are in addition to the special express trains already announced between Howrah and Bandra.

The special express trains, which will leave Howrah at 1.30 pm and arrive at Manmad at 4.15 pm the next day, will have 10 sleeper class coaches, besides two AC II-tier, AC III-tier and general coaches each, SE Railway sources said on Monday.

Passengers willing to travel in these trains can reserve the tickets from Tuesday, the sources added.
