Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday accepted an invitation from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to visit India.
"I have invited the Russian President to visit India and I am pleased to say that he has accepted my invitation," the prime minister said at a joint press conference in Moscow with Putin after their talks.
"I want to thank Mr Prime Minister for his kind invitation to visit India," Putin responded.
