Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who has kept a low profile ever since he took over a month ago, will address the nation on Thursday.
He will make his address over Doordarshan at 1930 IST both in English and Hindi.
Singh
has been planning to address the nation ever since the disruption in Parliament by the opposition over the issue of tainted ministers with the result there was no discussion on even the motion of thanks to the President's address.
