The famous Madison Square Garden is sold out.

Excitement runs high among the Indian-American community for the ‘historic’ public reception in New York for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

When Modi addresses a record 18,000 crowd -- which also includes lawmakers and top corporate leaders at the iconic venue usually reserved for rockstars and sports -- it would be the first time in American history that a foreign head of state attracted such a whopping crowd.

Rediff.com, which is live streaming the event, is throwing the floor open for its readers to discuss the significance of the occasion.
