42 bar girls arrested near Mumbai

As many as 42 bar girls and 56 customers were arrested during a raid at a bar on the Mumbai-Pune Highway, police said in Alibaug on Friday.

Police raided Hotel Baywatch on Thursday night and arrested the bar owner and others saying the bar was open after the prescribed time limit. The girls were charged with indecent exposure.

An offence under Section 294 of Indian Penal Code has been registered. The arrested would be produced in court on Friday.
