World Laughter Day was celebrated in New York Central Park on Sunday.
This was the first time since the September 11 terrorist strike on the twin towers of the World Trade Centre that the New York Department of Parks allowed a new event in Central Park.
The theme of the free laughter yoga event was World Peace through Laughter.
