The funeral of slain Border Roads Organisation driver Maniappan Raman Kutty will take place with state honours in the evening in Alappuzha on Friday, the victim's family said.
The body is expected to be brought to Thiruvananthapuram by noon and will be taken in a procession by road for cremation to his native place at 5:30 PM.

body will be placed for public homage at the school where his son is studying, ahead of the cremation at the house premises itself, sources said.
Neighbours and relatives have completed the preparations for the funeral within the 10-cent land of Maniappan whose dream was own a good house near the main road.
