January 18, 2006 23:48 IST

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had a meeting on Wednesday night with Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Home Minister Shivraj Patil to discuss the political developments in Karnataka, where Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government is facing a crisis.
