"I have got as many as 20,0000 e-mail messages. I am studying them and will take necessary action," he told reporters on board his aircraft on way to Yangoon, the first leg of his five-day two-nation trip to Myanmar and Mauritius.

A couple of days ago NDTV news channel had presented to the President 20,0000 e-mail messages it had received from its viewers seeking his intervention and justice in the murder of the Delhi model seven years ago in a posh restaurant.

All the accused, including Manu Sharma, son of Haryana Minister Venod Sharma, were acquitted by a Delhi sessions judge for lack of evidence and since then there has been a public outrage against the judgement.
