Jammu: BSF fires as suspected movement observed along IB

Border Security Force troops on Wednesday fired after observing suspected movement along International Border in Jammu sector. "There was suspected movement along IB Sidharwan Border out oost in Akhnoor belt of Jammu district around 5 am on Wednesday," a BSF officer said.

The BSF troops guarding the border took positions and fired 25 rounds on the area of suspected movement, he said, adding that during search conducted afterwards, foot-prints were seen.

The suspected persons apparently escaped back to the other side of the border, he said.
