Mughal Gardens to open exclusively for disabled

For the first time ever, the Mughal Gardens at Rashtrapati Bhavan will be exclusively opened for physically and mentally challenged people from March 31 to April 2.

The special gesture has been made at the behest of President A P J Abdul Kalam, a Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesman said.

A limited number of wheelchairs will also be made available at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The gardens will by closed for viewing by the general public on Sunday.
