A woman was killed and another injured when an unidentified man stabbed them at Gateway of India in south Mumbai on Saturday evening.
The incident occurred at around 1800 IST and the assailant was nabbed immediately, police said.
Both women were rushed to a hospital. One was declared dead on arrival, while the other is undergoing treatment.
However, the cause of the attack was not known immediately.
