A sub-inspector attached to a Mumbai police station was arrested in connection with the alleged murder of his wife at Nehru Nagar.
Vijay Kamble was arrested after his wife Alka was found dead under mysterious conditions Saturday near Tilak Nagar terminus, police said.
She was strangulated to death.
Police said that Kamble suspected his wife's character, a mother of two children.
Kamble was arrested and further investigations were on, police added.
