Blair, PM meet now in Udaipur

British Prime Minister Tony Blair's visit to Shimla on Wednesday for a meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was cancelled due to bad weather and the two leaders will now meet in Udaipur.

Blair, who led the European Union delegation for the India-EU Summit in New Delhi, was slated to have bilateral discussions with Singh in Mashobra, near Shimla, but it was decided to shift the venue due to poor weather conditions.

The two leaders are slated to hold a joint press conference in New Delhi on Thursday late afternoon on their return from Udaipur. Blair will leave for London on Thursday evening after meeting United Progressive Alliance chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
