The police have lodged First Information Report against unknown persons in connection with the setting afire of a bus carrying several National Democratic Alliance leaders during the January 3 bandh, a senior police official said on Sunday.
The leaders had been taken into custody for defying prohibitory orders during the bandh and were being taken to a police station.
The FIR has been lodged by the officer-in-charge of the Kotwali police station in Patna and the police is investigating the circumstances which led to the bus catching fire, on Bailey road.
