A Bharatiya Janata Party minister in Bihar on Thursday said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had failed to fulfill the minimum courtesy of congratulating Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for his electoral victory.
"I still wonder as to why Nitish Kumar failed to fulfill minimum courtesy to congratulate Narendra Modi over his hat-trick win till date," said BJP leader and Bihar Animal Husbandry Minister Giriraj Singh.
Singh, who returned from Gujarat after attending Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony as chief minister, said that he can understand that Nitish Kumar could not attend the function, but could not understand why he didn't congratulate Modi.
"It is for people to judge and decide," Singh said.
Nitish Kumar and his party the Janata Dal-United had expressed strong reservation for Narendra Modi
