Cricket is at it's low (match fixing scandal). Economy still well below par. The kidnap drama down south not worth mentioning. Mr. Clinton & Mr. Vajpayee vistis to each other's country a high point of the year but the one person who really did India proud is Karnam Malleshwari and so I vote her as Rediff Indian of the year.
