Four killed in Bangalore hit-and-run

Four persons were killed and another one was injured when a car lost its control and ran over them in Indiranagar area in Bangalore on Saturday morning.

The victims included three morning joggers and a cyclist, they said, adding that the driver of the car fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind.

A driving license issued in the name of Karthik Somaiah was found in the car, they said.

The dead have been identified as Siddaiah (65), Panathur (66), Kempegowda (65) and Radhakrishna (45), the cyclist, they said, adding the injured has been identified as K K Reddy.

It is yet to be ascertained whether Karthik Somaiah, to whom the car belongs, was at the wheels, police said.

Post mortem was done on the bodies, which were later handed over to the relatives.
