The dossier on the 26/11 attacks which will be taken to the United States of America by Home Minister P Chidambaram is sufficient to nail Pakistan and the role it played in the deadly attacks on Mumbai, according to sources in the Intelligence Bureau.

Sources told rediff.com that the dossier on the Mumbai [Images] attack has been prepared with inputs from the Mumbai crime branch, Anti-Terrorist Squad, RAW and Intelligence Bureau.

An IB official said that the dossier had been prepared based on various information security and investigating agencies have received in the aftermath of the attack. The main part of the dossier contains the confession statement of Ajmal Kasab [Images], the lone terrorist in the custody of the Mumbai police. This evidence is also backed by video clippings in which Kasab is seen confessing to the investigating agencies.

Further details of the conversation between, LeT big wigs, Muzzamil, Laqvi and Zarar Shah also form part of the dossier. IB sources said that there is ample proof provided that the conversation between the three men and the Mumbai attackers is solid proof to show that the calls were made from Pakistan.

Further intercepts of the Intelligence Bureau both before and after the attacks had been included in the dossier.

The confessional statements of Sabahuddin and Fahim Ansari, the LeT operatives who attacked the CRPF camp in Rampur, also find a mention in the dossier. The IB says that they had made available this information to the Union Home Ministry when the dossier was being prepared. The IB has also provided specific inputs regarding the meetings of Sabahuddin and Ansari with the LeT bosses in Pakistan apart from the survey the duo conducted of Mumbai city.

Further, the log book which was recovered from the vessel that these terrorists came in from Karachi also is mentioned in the dossier.

Call records on the satellite phone made between the attackers and their handlers in Pakistan also were recorded.

The IB says that it is crystal clear that these attackers during their three-day mission had kept in touch with their LeT bosses in Pakistan and there were call records to prove the same.
