In Ahmedabad, the City's Deputy Commissioner of Police of Crime Branch Abhay Chudasma, when asked about the involvement of the Ahmedabad blast accused in the serial blasts in New Delhi, declined to comment but said they were in touch with the Delhi police.

Qureshi alias Tauqeer is the most wanted person in connection to the serial blasts in Delhi. He is said to have traveled to the national capital and Uttar Pradesh two weeks before the Saturday blasts, besides being the alleged mastermind in a series of bombings in the country.

Besides Qureshi, the probe pointed to the involvement of three persons hailing from Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh and the Delhi police was trying to find their whereabouts.

The Uttar Pradesh police has not been cooperative and has asked the Delhi police to come armed with a warrant before conducting raids, the sources claimed.
