See Kilinochchi was even captured in past and LTTE took it back. Now the Sri Lankans are trying to get that back. That might happen. But the question what if Prabhakaran gets killed is superficial.
If you look at success of Sri Lankans in the past including the killing of LTTE political chief S P Tamilselvan in an air strike was a random success, a kind of a lottery. If they can kill Prabhakaran in that manner then it is a different issue.
Will Prabhakran get arrested? I don't think he will ever get arrested. I am not saying this because I am an astrologer. Even when he faced tough time when Indian forces were choking him, Prabhakaran had requested his people that, 'if ever they (enemy) get close to capturing me then kill me and pour kerosene over me and burn my body. Indian forces should not take away my body.' He would not like to be hanged. So, capturing or arresting Prabhakaran is almost out of question.
In the past, Prabhakaran has shown the ability to bounce back. I am not sure if he can do it again.
