Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, an accused in the September 29 Malegaon blast case, was hospitalised for a brief period after her arrest by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad, her lawyer said on Wednesday.

"She has kidney stone problem. It gave her trouble after she was arrested," her lawyer Ganesh Sovani said.

Following the arrest, Pragya had to be shifted to a private hospital in central Mumbai and later she was taken to Jaslok Hospital, Sovani said. He declined to give further details of her hospitalisation.

Pragya's family had alleged that the ATS did not arrest her on October 23, as per the record, but nearly two weeks before.
