Two persons, believed to be activists of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, were killed in a bomb explosion on Monday at Cheruvanchery near the politically sensitive Thalassery town, in Kerala's [Images] Kannur district, police said.

The incident occurred around 0730 hrs when Pradeep and Dileep, both in their late twenties, were reportedly engaged
in making bombs behind a grove in the Kannavam police station limits, police said.

The explosion ripped apart the body of one of them. Police said the two were believed to be RSS activists.
