Pokhran tests strengthened India: Kalam

Former President APJ Abdul Kalam said that the landmark decision of the country to conduct the Pokhran nuclear tests has strengthened India.
The Atal Behari Vajpayee led National Democratic Alliance government staged the blasts on May 11 and May 13 in 1998 and decided to observe May 11 as 'Technology Day'..
