All set for Tirupati show

August 21, 2008
However the local police administration is worried how it will tackle the massive inflow of participants. Chittoor district superintendent of police Murlidhar Reddy has already visited the venue of the meeting and expressed his dissatisfaction from the security point of view. Much to his consternation he found the ground open from all sides.

Chiranjeevi, however, told the media in Hyderabad that his party would arrange its own private security for the occasion. At the same time, he appealed to the police and the government to provide effective security for the meeting.

Meanwhile, two prominent doctors from Krishna district joined Chiranjeevi's party. They include S Chandrasekhar, an oncologist and Dr K Srinivas Rao. Chandrasekhar is the son of former Telugu Desam Party minister Simhadri Satyanarayana.

Welcoming them in to his party, Chiranjeevi said, "People with clean image will get due respect in the party."
