A minor boy around 10 years old allegedly drove a SUV into a mother and child in Paschim Vihar area of west Delhi late on Tuesday night.

The boy, who was at the wheel of a Toyota Qualis, hit the two at a crossing in Mianwala locality, police said.

The woman and her son were rushed to Sanjay Gandhi hospital nearby where their condition was stated to be critical.

The boy has been taken into custody, but it was not immediately clear whether the police had been able to get in touch with his parents/guardian.
