Moderate quake hits Gujarat

A slight intensity earthquake struck the Kutch region of Gujarat on Monday morning.

The quake, measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale, hit at around 0643 IST, the Met department said.

There were no reports of any damage.

The Kutch region was hit by a devastating quake in 2001 that claimed hundreds of lives.
