She says: I currently work with an MNC in Bangalore. I hail from a small town called Silchar which is on the border of Manipur and Assam on the Barak river.

Although it is a very remote area, Silchar celebrates Durga Puja in a very grand way. In this slide and the next I am offering images of some of the more beautiful Ma Durgas in our town, which I liked and captured. The entire world needs to see how enthusiastic the Assamese Bengalis are!
