Supriya Sule doesn't own a vehicle

Surpiya Sule, daughter of Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar [Images], filed her nomination for the September 18 Rajya Sabha bypoll on Tuesday.

She has declared that she owns property worth Rs 16 crore but neither she nor her businessman husband Sadanand Sule own any motor vehicle.

The movable assets of 37-year old Supriya, who is a BSc graduate, are worth over Rs 5.10 crore and immovable assets are worth Rs 10.85 crore, the affidavit filed by her before the returning officer at Vidhan Bhawan said.

The assets of her husband Sadanand Sule are worth around Rs 25 crore, including movable assets of Rs 18.87 crore and immovable assets of Rs 5.67 crore.

Supriya, along with her husband, owns a 2635 sq feet flat in Singapore, valued at Rs 8.86 crore, besides a house each in Mumbai and Pune.

Supriya and Sadanand have each invested Rs 1.97 crore in overseas financial institutions and Rs 14.46 lakh each in quoted shares overseas.

The movable assets of Supriya's children are worth over Rs 1 crore. Daughter Revathi's movable assets are worth Rs 51 lakh and son Vijay's assets are worth Rs 49 lakh.

The daughter of the country's Agricultural Minister owns agricultural land at Malegaon village in Baramati (4.16 hectares) and at Dehkalwadi village in Baramati (10 hectares).
