The Royal Country Liquor Bar, off Pherozeshah Mehta Road at Fort, is one of many like it. It isn't frequented by tourists or office-goers, but is a pit stop for many during the day. Hooch is sold here by the tipple; beer, by the bottle. Expecting to be thrown out for asking permission to take a few photographs, I spent a few pleasant moments with patrons happy to flaunt their presence.
