Returning to the city during the 1970s on visits, my mother would treat me to Kyani's baked goodies whenever we were in town. The Bun-Maska and Chai are staples right through the day. Other classics are still ordered by painter M F Husain and actor Shashi Kapoor, who now sends his driver across to collect orders.
