Britannia & Co is the place for Berry Pulao. Its fabulous sister concern Bastani (right opposite Kyani) was forced to shut down a few years ago. The interiors fail to deter customers though. They come, unfailingly, for Fry Bombay Duck, Fish Patra and Prawn Bharuchi Masala.
While Afshil mans the desk out front, 84-year-old Boman Kohinoor sits at the back with his brother and supervises the help. Opened in the early 1920s by Boman's father, this once plush eatery was requisitioned by the British Armed Forces during the Second World War and never quite recovered. A must on an visitor's culinary itinerary.
