Munger: Police chief attacked, escapes unhurt

Ravindra Shankaran, superintendent of police, Munger district, escaped relatively unhurt after a powerful bomb was hurled at him on Thursday. The bomb, which exploded close to him, has caused some damage to Shankaran's ear and he was rushed to a local hospital.

Local police police have made one arrest in this connection and a search operation is on for the other culprits.
