The Dr Manmohan Singh interview

Ahead of United States President George W Bush's [Images] visit, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh [Images] has said an agreement on the civilian nuclear deal would be President Bush's "great contribution" to ending India's isolation from the world nuclear order.

In a wide-ranging interview with Charlie Rose telecast on the Public Broadcasting System in the US on Monday, Dr Singh also said the US should use its "influence" on Islamabad [Images] to convince it that using terrorism as an instrument of state policy has no place in the world.
