Special staff officials have arrested a man in connection with a bomb hoax call at a luxury hotel in Delhi, police said Wednesday.

Anil Kumar, 35, allegedly triggered a bomb scare at a luxury hotel in NDMC zone on Christmas eve with his false call about the presence of explosives there, police said.

He is accused of making several hoax calls in 2004 as well, police said.

Kumar was already booked in nine cases, including under anti-prostitution laws.

He was accompanying a suspected prostitute during his arrest at Ashoka Road, police said.
