The South African model, who was allegedly raped by two youths on December 28, 2005, has vowed to fight back legally.
Reacting to the bail given to one of the accused, the victim said she will be returning to India soon. "I will fight the battle against those insane criminals until I win the war. I am not afraid any more, though I was afraid when they drugged, kidnapped and gangraped me," she said.
Advocate Falguni Brahmbhatt, who had helped the South African national in registering a complaint before she departed for her native city, received her reaction soon after Additional Sessions Judge M V Jethani ordered the release of one of the two accused, Suresh Krishnani, on a bail of Rs 25,000.
"Though I will suffer long term depression from the abuse, I am going to sue them for the damage and pain they caused to my life," the victim said in her message.
She further said that if the rapists go unpunished, the world will look down upon India.
Her counsel, however, refused to comment on the bail saying that she had not seen the order.
