Ahead of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit in December, Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee will travel to Moscow in November to finalise agreements on military-technical cooperation between the two countries.
"The major purpose of the defence minister's visit to Moscow is to prepare agreements on Russian-Indian military technical cooperation," External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh told reporters in Moscow Thursday.
Mukherjee will hold talks with Russian leaders on November 15-16, Itar-Tass reported. The agreements are expected to be signed in the course of the Russia-India summit in early December in Moscow.
