Sonia joined the marchers for about a kilometre from the Sabarmati Ashram to RTO Chowk.
At the chowk, she garlanded a statue of Mahatma Gandhi and then flew to New Delhi.
The Congress leaders, who had been flown down from New Delhi to participate in the march, disappeared soon after Sonia left.
