Another schoolboy, Harsh Ranjan, was abducted in a village in Samastipur district, Bihar, by armed robbers on Sunday.

"The boy was taken forcibly from the house by armed robbers" police officials said.

Unlike the previous cases wherein the kids were kidnapped on the way to school, the 12-year-old Ranjan was  abducted from a relative's house.

The robbers entered the house of retired school principal Ram Narain Singh, and when they failed to get anything of value they took away Ranjan.

The boy is a close relative of the Singhs.

Police have launched a massive search operation.

No arrests have made so far, police said.

The case is the latest in a string of abductions in Bihar in the recent times.
