Lalu acts in a film

He is a star in Indian politics and now he is in movies.

Railways Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav on Saturday morning appeared in a cameo role in Mahesh Manjrekar's Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav in Patna.

It was the last shooting schedule for the film.

The former Bihar chief minister's shot lasted three to four minutes at 1 Anne Marg, the sprawling official residence of his chief minister wife, Rabri Devi.

The shoot was scheduled for Friday but it was postponed to accommodate Lalu's other engagements.

The minister arrived in Patna from Delhi early in the morning.

Actors Johny Lever and Mausmi Makhija were part of the shot canned with Lalu.

The film's lead actor, Sunil Shetty, was not present.
