Veteran actress, social activist and former Rajya Sabha MP Shabana Azmi said, "The criminalisation of politics is going on openly in the country and no one is bothered about the problems of the people at large."

"The good picture of the Indian growth was being shown while the real situation was something else," she said.

"We should come together and transform the nation for the benefit of all and for creating a new world order that tackles the terrorism of hunger, inequality and injustice," she added.
