Coach of Mumbai-Vadodara Express gutted in fire

Fire broke out in a sleeper class coach of the Vadodara-bound 2927 Down Mumbai-Vadodara Express at Sarar village near Vadodara early on Saturday, official reports said.

According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties as the passengers managed to get out of the coach, which was completely gutted in the fire which broke out at around 0540 IST.

Railway officials and fire fighters from Vadodara rushed to the spot and the coach was later detached from the train.
