Nationalist Congress Party activists on Tuesday attacked the office of a news channel in Mumbai after it telecast a political satire, Ghadla Bighadla, which hinted at a connection between Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal and the fake stamp paper scam.
Four employee of Alpha Marathi channel [a sister concern of Zee TV] were injured and admitted to a nearby hospital.
"The agitated NCP activists... broke our furniture," Alpha Marathi officials said.
Minister of State for Home Rajendra Darda visited the office in suburban Andheri and assured that those responsible for the attack would be punished.
