Tell us your dreams for India

August 25, 2003

'India should change for good, not worse'

I have been a truck driver for 5 years and belong to Rajasthan.

I want India to change but it should be change for the good, and not worse.

As far as I am concerned I would like to progress in life. I am a truck driver and will remain so in 10 years time. I want to make more money and ensure good education for my children so that they can settle down in life and get good government jobs.

At the moment whatever I am doing is for my two-and-a-half-year-old baby girl, my wife and my parents.

If I had a choice, I would like to free all Indians from all kinds of addiction including drug, liquor and other bad habits.

India faces shortage of drinking water and electricity. This must change for good.

As told to Onkar Singh
