Terrorists kill 5 persons in Assam

Suspected United Peoples Democratic Solidarity terrorists killed five persons in Assam's Karbi Anglong district on Thursday night, police said.

The terrorists, armed with AK-47 rifles, went to the house of the irrigation department guard at Manja village under Diphu police station and opened fire, the police said.

The victims were the guard, his wife and three daughters, the police said.
