The combined Opposition led by the Congress on Thursday, August 14, gave notice for a no-confidence motion against the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government.

The motion, likely to be debated and put to vote on Tuesday, follows the defence ministry's 'refusal' to hand over the Central Vigilance Commission's report on defence deals to Parliament's Public Accounts Committee probing purchases made during the Kargil war.

Do you think the government will fall? Or is this nothing but a pre-election gimmick?
