Delhi police to file charge sheet against
R K Sharma this week

Onkar Singh in New Delhi

The Delhi police will file charge sheet in the Shivani Bhatnagar murder case this week, Joint Commissioner (Crime Branch) U K Katna said on Tuesday.

"We have time till October 30 to file charge sheet in this case. But we are ahead of time. We will file the charge sheet against R K Sharma, the prime accused in the case, and his accomplices later this week," he told rediff.com

Asked if he was satisfied with the investigations, he said, "We have made all the recoveries that need to be made in this case."

Shivani was murdered in her flat on January 23, 1999. Sharma, an Indian Police Service officer, was named prime accused. He had hired the killer, Pradeep Sharma, through Sri Bhagwan Sharma, a property dealer from Gurgaon, the police said.
