Gujarat: One PSI, two CISF men suspended in Baroda

A police sub-inspector and two Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawans have been suspended for dereliction of duty while coping with a mob, which stabbed two persons to death in the Makarpura area last Sunday, a senior police official said in Baroda.

Police Commissioner Dindayal Tuteja on Wednesday said that PSI N Valecha failed to fire at the mob, which attacked members of the minority community.

The two CISF jawans, who were with Valecha in the same jeep, also failed to open fire on the violent mob, he said.
