Two killed, six hurt in Pak shelling in R S Pora sector

At least two people were killed and six hurt in heavy Pakistani shelling in R S Pora sector in Jammu region on Monday afternoon.

Police sources in Srinagar said that Pakistani troops shelled village Trewa resulting in damage to several houses.

Two civilians, including a woman, died on the spot while six were wounded.

However, unofficial sources said the toll is likely to go up as more injured were still in the village.

"There is heavy shelling still going on. The condition of injured is critical," a police source said.

Pakistani artillery shelled Telail and Gurez sectors in northern Baramulla district.

However, no one was injured.
