Film financier Bharat Shah to move Supreme Court for bail

Bharati Dubey in Mumbai

Film Financier Bharat Shah would be moving the Supreme Court on Friday asking it to intervene and issue notice to prosecution for bail.

Shah's trial, which was supposed to begin on January 8, was deferred as the accused, Nazim Rizvi and Shah, could not be produced in court due to ill health.

Bharat Shah was arrested for his alleged links with the underworld.
